| So, David had no crashes… but look at him! Does he look like he can ride, or what?
David is fresh off a broken leg, so I imagine he was just taking
it easy on us lightweights. He was great about helping us out with our
technique (or dare I say, lack of it?). David, a 1000 thank you’s! |
| Mike racked up quite a few dollars in damage this time
out. Luckily, he wasn’t too badly hurt. He rode the power lines well,
but it was the whoop-de-doos that got him — and got him hard! |
| Well… after Marcus Dairy, we rode on over to Dutchess
County, New York, where Seth and I live.
Mike and I have done some serious power line and trail riding
here before, and we wanted to show our new friend and fellow rider
(David Park) a good time ala GS mode. |

| There were those of us who
wrecked... |
| Seth also racked up a few bucks on a new parts list.
Seth took a “G-scent” spill on loose rock and boulders while
coming down a steep power line trail. Seth was not hurt, and managed 2 more biffs
before the day was out. |
| I took the first spill of the day when a rock threw me
into a huge rut on a quick and hasty ascent.
No damage at all on this one. Thanks to David for helping pull
my 425 lb ride out of there! Later, however, I had to gently lay it
down when a mud puddle claimed my front tire costing me a front right
turn signal lamp and a scratch on my windshield. |
| … and those of us who didn’t! |
